Estran

Estran je nasycený tetracyklický uhlovodík patřící do skupiny steroidů s 18 atomy uhlovodíku.

Kostra estranu je založena na struktuře gonanu ( steranu ) s methylovou skupinou na C-13. Struktura estranu je základem pro estrogenní hormony ( estron , estriol , estradiol atd.).
